Ice

If you hadn't heard by now, there was a huge ice storm a few weeks ago across several states including Kentucky. A lot of people lost water and power but we lucked out and actually got to enjoy the storm. There was no school for the kids or Scott and plenty of food in the house. So we just enjoyed the break and didn't even try to get anything accomplished. The only productive thing we did was to take some pictures. These are the best of the bunch, although the ones at night didn't do it justice. The ice refracted some color, but in the picture it just looks white.

And just to give you a bit of perspective, the only picture with any snow in it is the one of Zoe's playhouse. The rest of what you see is just ice. Even the pictures of the fields don't show snow. It's just ice on the grass.
